Hello Yola team,
first of all thanks for Such a great support staff, Awesome piece of technology and great prices!
I have bought a domain from Yola, Orgavica.com
I have already pointed it to my website on Yola.

What I want is, point its subdomain, blog.orgavica.com to a blog hosted at Blogger/blogspot.
Also is it possible to redirect more subdomains to other services? for example a forum (i dont want inbuilt forums.. somehow not satisfactory)

And maybe subdomain directing to a PAGE of the same site, cos writing feedback.orgavica.com is easier than orgavica.com/feedback.php

Thank you so much Yola :)

Hello Green Girl

We are happy to hear that you enjoy using Yola. Thanks so much for the compliments! :)

If you want to point your your subdomain (blog.orgavica.com) to Blogger/Blogspot, you will need to change the DNS records, as follows:

  1. Go to My Yola > Domains.

  2. Click on "Advanced Settings" next to your domain (orgavica.com). This opens the domain settings page.

  3. Click on "Change your DNS settings".

  4. Remove the A Record for the subdomain.

  5. Add a CNAME Record to point to ghs.google.com.

I'm not sure that it is possible to redirect to a page on the site, but I will find out more details for you.

Hope this helps!

Nazlie

Hi urbancoremedia,

You could use Yola as your domain registrar host. It would also be an expensive proposition if it was only for a single domain (somewhere between $34.95 and $49.95). If you already have a registered domain with Yola then it can work out fairly inexpensive at $11.95 per additional domain per year (plus the previously mentioned Yola Bronze hosting package as it is called)

To implement this domain hosting you would need to transfer your domain used with Blogger to the Yola environment and then alter the DNS settings to point to your blogger IP. Yola would be able to offer support for this process.
