I'm a new user on Yola and a little frustrated at this stage, have added linked pages to content pages not the Home page...but unfortunately did not un-check the navigation box request when setting these pages up....Now I can not remove the page titles from my home page...How do I get rid of them in view here and still keep my pages...Urgg

Also my Home page title does not fit into the strangely un-manageable banner title space...how do I get my title to display in the adequate space...the setup does not appear to have much functionality???..Support has only suggested I find another third party to create a banner with ...would prefer not to have to do this??

Thanks if anyone out there can help??

Well... there's multiple solutions.

One is to add a div tag instead of a paragraph tag. A div tag generally raises the font up a hair and moves it more into space of a heading.

Another is to center it

Or change it's size

Another is to delete it and add it to your banner directly.

If you wish to add a center to it. Type in a text widget and format it as appropriate including centering it. Open the html and copy the code. Open the properties bar to the right and paste it in the page heading.

If you wish to delete it, open the properties bar and delete it from the page heading section.

If you wish to add it to your banner. Open your banner in picknick and click the "create" tab... then click the "text" and type your text and click "add", then change your font and color accordingly... The text should start in the center of your banner... adjust it appropriately.

I hope this helps. Ask if you need more help!

If this helps, then do me a favor and visit my site, then give me advice...

I hope I am understanding your questions correctly...

To get rid of the page titles:
Click on EDIT NAVIGATION under publish to web and move the pages you don't want shown out of the menu...

To change the size of your home page title:
Change the font size of the title, in the page header box... Add font tags before and after the name in properties menu, this is on the right hand side of sitebuilder... or As Donald said, delete it and add it to your banner image directly.

I don't think she's referring to the menu, I believe she is referring to the title of the page... where the banner would be. This is done in the properties sidebar to the right of sitebuilder.

I was referring to
>>>have added linked pages to content pages not the Home page...but unfortunately did not un-check the navigation box request when setting these pages up....

What is she saying about the navigation then? I also said that about the properties menu... One out of 2 will do...

We'll sort it all out eventually...

I think she wasn't referring to the "page heading" as it sounded like and what I was thinking.

If you are referring to the navigation menu... then Yola_User_A would be correct
