How to sell a theme to Yola?

Does anybody at Yola know if it is possible to sell a theme to Yola for use by Yola members. As I have been building a really nice web-site template over the last few months.

My Yola Template

However it is becoming a pain to edit, as even minor edits have to be done in HTML, ideally in Dreamweaver. I believe that if this could be built into a native template offered by Yola, it would make it much easier to edit. Also currently there is no template offered by Yola which is even remotely similar to it, it would make a really unique template.

I have finished coding the CSS and the basic HTML mock-up. However, I don't know exactly what requirements Yola would need for them to finish it up as a fully featured Yola Template or if this would even be possible?

Thus I am looking for a CSS guru and an HTML Ninja at Yola or anybody else who knows what would be required to finish this project in order to possibly donate or sell it to Yola :)

The template probably needs a bit more work, the biggest problem I am having now is that making new pages is quite a mission :(

You can download the entire site here:

Which includes:
1.) index - HTML page
2.) CSS files
3.) Javascript files

Hi Jeremy -

Wow, that's a great looking style!!

Where are the blog entries coming from? It's hard to tell, since links aren't clicking in the test - is that pulling from the yola blog?

Really nice work, thank you for sharing with the community!

Thanks,

Stephanie

Currently those blog entries are simply pre-coded text.
I am looking for somebody who knows how to do exactly what you just stated.

I am actually using this style to produced a clients site, on Yola. Which will have multiple pages functioning, so all the links should run.

I am hoping to find out if anybody knows how to do the following:

  • "pulling" the 3 latest feeds from the blog page to the front page.

  • Integration with a Twitter account

  • Integration with a Flickr account

Currently the Flicker and Twitter are being manually created, which is not suitable for fast updating.

Hi Jeremy,

That is a nice looking style! In the past we have run contests for new templates and you can peak at one of our previous contests for an idea of what we require. We are actually working on a new batch of styles now from our last contest and are not currently in the market for more, but I would suggest you hold on to this one to use as inspiration for our next style submission contest!

Jeremy,

Have you had a look at Yola Style Designers? You could submit it there and get paid 250 dollars (I think). Anyway I think you should chec it out.
