Hi,
I was just wondering if you can use a navigation menu from a style (such as Corporate Blue) and implement it in to my style (Modern Office). The reason being, I ike having the links up the top of Modern Office for things like login, blog etc. whereas Corporate Blue has a nice big menu button for things like Home, About, etc. Is this possibile?
Kind Regards,
Amar

Hi Amar,

Thanks for bringing this up! The way the navigation is positioned on the page is a feature of the style you've selected. There is a way around it that may suit you:

1. You can take your pages out of your navigation. (click on the "Edit Navigation" button and drag the pages from "Pages in the Navigation" to "Pages out of the Navigation" - this will hide your default navigation).
2. Create your own page links and place where you'd like this new navigation to show up. This can be done by adding text, highlighting it and clicking on the link button on the Text Editing Toolbar above.
3. Link your text to the specific page.

OK so i could make my own menu but the problem being I would have to do this on every single page and I would not be able to use yola's drop-down menu function which is soon to come out. Is there any workaround for this?

Hello Amar

You will need to add the code to each page. I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you. If you wish, you could use the Save Page As feature. This is explained in this tutorial: Making a copy of a page.

I hope that will help!

Hi Amar,

You could actually add the menu to your Tracking codes (in the header section) but this would require a lot of testing and can take many hours to get the positioning right.

Kind Regards,
