How would I embed a video onto my Yola site using FlowPlayer? I downloaded FlowPlayer, and I have a Flash video ready to go. Would I use an HTML widget? Any info. would be appreciated!

Hello Elliot

If FlowPlayer provides you with some HTML code, you'd need to add it to an HTML Widget. I suppose you will also need to upload your Flash file to your Yola File Manager, and then you may have to edit the code by providing the URL to your Flash file, like http://yourdomainname.com/resources/youflashfile.swf

Did you know that Yola offers a Flash Widget? When you use it, you can simply upload your Flash file and add it to your Yola website with the widget. This may be an easier solution.

I see. Yep, in Chrome it seems to work on both computers, but it takes ages to load on my end, and my internet connection is rather good.

Also works in Safari on both Mac and PC.

That's weird that it's slow to load. It load almost immediately on my end- both in Chrome and Safari.
Are you using IE9 on your PC?

That comes through too Elliot. You've done well.

Both were fast loads for me (Chrome & FireF). Which is kinda strange as intl loading can be slower here than US & EU by miles. Have no idea how it compares to SA though.

Hi Elliot

I have problems getting my SWF videos to play full screen on my Yola sites. They play alright, but never in full screen. This is really strange...
I am on a Mac and use Doremisoft to convert video files to SWF. I was told that I instead should use FLV, if I had problems. I have tried, but I can't upload the FLV files.

Do you know what the solution could be?
I have thought about, whether it could have anything to do with my quicktime player - I don't have a quick time pro. But, then again why should that matter.

Hello Henrik

Can you please provide your URL for me to check your SWF video?

Hello Stefan

Yes, it is: http://www.asaakiravideo.com And NO! It is not a spam link! ;-)

However, I haven't any SWF videos on now, because they don't work. I use embedded HTML videos now, but they point other sites, so I am losing traffic.

Ok, but I can only check the screen size issue for you if you leave me at least a test page which I can view ...

Cool! I have just added a page called 'Testing video' as the last page, where I have added a SWF file. I can't go full screen, but maybe you can. :-)
