Hello MN

With Yola, you normally don't need any coding knowledge. You can add links to the Text or Picture Widget without needing to use HTML.

If you'd still like to add your custom HTML code to your Yola website, you can do so by using the HTML Code Widget. To learn how to use HTML, there are lots of resources on the internet, HTML.net is one of them if you'd like to have a look.

Hello John

I think in your request two things get mixed up: One thing is to add links that open in a new tab or window, and the other thing is following users via Facebook or Twitter.

Here is how you can add a link that opens in a new tab:

Text Widget
  1. Drag and drop a Text Widget to your page.

  2. Highlight the text section that you wish to make a link.

  3. Click on the Link icon/word in the Text Editing Toolbar.

  4. The Link Editor opens. Choose the right option and add your link.

  5. At the bottom of the dialogue box, you will find the option "Open in new window". Tick this checkbox.

  6. Click on "OK" to save your link.

  7. Click on "Save" in the top-right corner and then preview to check the result.

Picture Widget
  1. Drag and drop a Picture Widget to your page.

  2. Add your picture.

  3. Hover over the Picture Widget and click on "Edit" on the widget frame.

  4. The Picture Widget dialogue box opens. Click on "Choose a link".

  5. Now continue from step 4 above.

If you have more questions, please let me know.

You will need to manually search for the codes causing the redirects. To my knowledge, there is no automatic tool to achieve this.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Can we write these links by hand so that you can write one for me". I'm afraid that Yola Support won't have the capacity to add or edit links for you.

When you add links, you can do so either by using the Text or Picture Widget or by using an HTML Code Widget which allows you to add your link using HTML.

Yola partners with Constant Contact to offer our customers a professional mailing list. This offer is a paid product and you can test it one month for free. If a paid mailing list is not an option for you, you'll need to look for alternatives on the internet. For sending newsletters, Mailchimp who offer a free newsletter/mailing list option seems to be an attractive online tool.

Hi,

It is very easy to set links as Stefan has outlined.
