HTML changes go missing after a save

Having some difficulties with html editing.

Example; I used your simple div code for adding background color to a text block. This worked fine in a few instances. For some reason, it seems to randomly not work elsewhere (same application just on another page).

I have the code inserted, tweak it, save, preview - it seems fine. But then I edit the bckgd color, save, preview - no change, so I re-open the html code to check it, and my bckgd info has just vanished entirely. I retype it - same result. It simply won't 'take'. I use the latest Firefox by the way.

I've had very few problems with the site incidentally, and have been having a blast. Would really like to know if I am missing something here, or if it is simply a glitch of some sort.

Thanks!

From the OP* - My apologies! This has been solved. It was, not surprisingly, user error. Oops. The simple exclusion of the pound sign when I was inserting an html color code was my problem. It of course didn't recognize it as legit code, and kicked it.
Sorry, and thanks.
