There is html script at the bottom of each website page on my site. I can't see it when I'm editing my pages, but when I publish it comes up across the bottom. I think it is some kind of java script. Please advise on how I can remove it.

Hello Lauren,

Is this script something that you have added previously or something that is part of the Style?

If it is something added previously then it sounds as if it has been added to the Footer Tracking facility of your site. You can navigate to this by going to; (if you have Yola Silver/Gold)

Site > Tracking > Site Tracking Code > {edit the footer code}

If it's part of the Style coding associated with Free or Bronze, then I wouldn't touch it :)

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

I went to the Footer tracking code section and deleted what was on there, but the code still shows up on the published site (you can see it at the bottom of www.jerseybents.com). I do not think it is part of the Style coding because it is not on other templates with this design.

Thanks!

Hi Lauren,

Got it. It's Google Analytics tracking code that has been placed in the wrong section or it is an incomplete snippet of the tracking code. Can you tell me if you added this according to the Yola specific instructions or as a Google Instruction?

I think I first followed Google and then did it following Yola's instructions.

OK. The first thing I would do is to remove all aspects of the code that you applied with Google instructions. Then that coding ghost should disappear.

If tracking then falls over, (this can be checked in the GAnalytics module which advises you of correct placement) then I would follow up by removing the Yola placed code, re-publish, clear your browser and the cookies. Follow with the Yola instruction starting from scratch and hopefully you will be up and going with a clean page(s) and working GAnalytics.
