HTML vs XHTML ??

I created a test page with two images. One was placed with the Image widget and the other was placed using the text widget. http://hindsite.synthasite.com/tagtes...

If I view the page source with the HTML validator it warns about an image tag not being closed. The image placed with the image widget is fine but the one placed with the text widget is not.

With the image widget:

<img id="I203_img" src="resources/WoodBackground.png" style='width:; border:none;' />

With the text widget:

<img style="margin: 4px; padding: 0px;" src="resources/WoodBackground.png?timestamp=1249831147345">

Also, it complains about all the <br> tags not looking like <br />
What is Yola's stance on being W3C complient?

Yeh, I'm trying to get into the habit of using <!-- <br /> --> as it is more future proof.

Yes John, I do that all the time. Remember it's got a space between the r and the /

Ok, maybe I'm confused and changed my HTML instead. I know I've changed something that way before - maybe it was the target = blank thing. I'll check again.
