Is anyone else having problems editing their html widget in their sitebuilder? When I select the edit button it opens, but when I select a line to edit, it takes me to another line so I can't edit! It's as if the numbered line is off from wherever the cursor is positioned. I can't get the cursor to the line I need to edit!!!!

I am having this problem in IE, but it is working in Chrome. Perhaps you could try a different browser to see if it helps.

This often happens with Older Web-Browsers, mostly with Internet Explorer 8.... You can try different web browsers like Chrome or Firefox or you can try Clearing your browser's Cache and try again...

One more thing.. make sure you have the latest Adobe Flash Player installed... for Chrome, just use the latest version of Chrome as Flash comes pre-installed with it.. for other Browsers just download it from Adobe's website...

Hope this helps :)

I had been using Internet Explorer 8 for a long time and was having no problems. Then one day it started up. I did upgrade to IE 10 and the problem still existed. I reverted back to IE 8 with the problem still there so I don't know if it has anything to do with my web browser or at least the version. I try some of the suggestions and let you know how it works. Thanks.

Okay, I cleared my cache and I installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and it didn't make a difference. I'll keep trying some of the other suggestions.

Okay, more progress. I tried Firefox and the problem is the same. I used Google Chrome and it seems to have corrected the problem. I'm just a bit confused though still. I've used IE 8 since I created my website with Yola a couple of years ago and had no problems until just recently. Why all of a sudden does the sitebuilder not work in it? I shouldn't say the entire sitebuilder - everything else works perfectly fine, it's just trying to edit the html widget and that seems to be the trouble for me. Just would like to know for curiosity sake if anyone has a clue. Thanks for the suggestions and help.

Hello April

I'm sorry that you've had this frustrating experience. Which version of Firefox did you use, the newest one? With Firefox you shouldn't have a problem. Can you please provide your URL for me to find your Yola account and check?

Is there a particular reason why you haven't updated your Internet Explorer version? IE8 is rather out of date considering the fact that IE10 is the most recent version of this browser. Although we state that we still support IE8, as things with Yola develop further, older browser versions will not be able to cope with the updates on the long term. Also, the browser providers recommend to always use the most recent version because browser updates include security improvements as well to protect you from the dangers of the web. However, it's true that Internet Explorer is currently a bit of a challenge for using Yola, and we're still busy making IE10 100% compatible with our Sitebuilder.

Let's find out why Chrome is the only browser where you can edit your HTML Widgets. Looking forward to your response.
