Hello Jordan

I have just responded to your question on this thread: http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/how...

I'll post my response here as well in case you don't see my answer on the other thread:

I would suggest using a two-column widget (located on the right-hand sidebar) to have your images or widgets line up side by side. You can even add more two-column widgets inside the two-column widget.

The center divider of the two-column widget can be dragged to the left or right to change the size of the columns. You can also edit the margins by clicking on the Properties tab in the right-hand sidebar. You'll see top, bottom, right, left margin entry box settings displayed that you can edit to see how your text and and/or images are altered.

When using a two column widget you'll often notice that the left and right widget are practically touching. The way I add a space is to use a two column widget in each side of the two column widget. then drag each of the two column widgets center all the way to the center and place your widget in the outer sides. :) Just a tip!!!

I'm sorry if my question wasn't clear. I am really into trying to customize the html to make my pages exactly the way I want, and also in creating a page that I will be able to use as a template for multiple pages on my site. I'm new to yola and will eventually move my hosting to a dedicated server to go with the bandwith I will need. I'm looking to find if maybe I am missing something in the code to allow the widgets to be side by side in code rather than simply dragging and dropping the "two column widgit".

by adding the 2 column widget you are auto adding the code which puts the widgets side by side - if you like you could add custom code to do the same thing with all the code in 1 widget.

Maybe try adding code through the text widgets and seperate it using either tables or div's.

You change the layout of your page to a layout with side-by-side columns. Then you put your HTML widgets side-by-side in seperate columns.
