Hello Lubabalo,

Banner on selected pages: You can do this with your banner through the Style Designer. It will not remove the reserved space for your banner and so if you wish to push up the body you will need to add some page specific CSS.

Background colour: The style designer will apply the colour to all pages of your site so the way to change individual pages is to do 1 of 2 things:

either
  • create a background image of your chosen colour for the various pages and then you can use the Style Designer which will only apply one image specific for a given page
or
  • Use page specific CSS to apply a colour to the background for a given page.

I mentioned that the Banner if removed will not remove the reserved space. This is incorrect. Simply un-toggling the banner display will remove both. This function is page specific so you can selectively remove or display the banner on individual pages.

If you add styling inside your <body> tag, it will over-ride the preset styling.
For example: <body style="background-color:aqua";> will change that page's background color only.
(you may have to refresh the page to see it).

Hello Lubabalo,

It is not possible to remove a banner from a specific page. If you remove a banner, it will remove it from all pages.

If you wish to have different background colors, you should be able to accomplish this through your Style Designer. When you edit the background for one page and click "Save", a message will come up asking if you want to apply the changes to all pages. You want to say "No". This will only apply the color to the page you were editing.

By doing this, you can set up different backgrounds for each of your page.

I hope that makes sense. Please do let us know if you have further questions.

Hi Mario,

I edited your comment to remove your phone number as you don't want your personal details on this public forum. We are happy to help you here if you share the problem you are having or you can contact us to schedule a callback.

Sanja,

Not correct!

It is not possible to remove a banner from a specific page. If you remove a banner, it will remove it from all pages.
The banner can be posted on a page by page basis. I thought the same then I tried the banner toggle. I had three pages with banners and the fourth wouldn't show. I went to the SD and noticed that the banner toggle was set to no show. Toggling this otherwise then displayed the banner on the new page.

You can check this out specifically on http://millionrice.yolasite.com

The 4 pages: Itinerary, Beginnings, Lan Na and Lan Xang have the banner showing, the Đại Việt page doesn't. If you then wish to look at the site (Filename: ICT) in the Sitebuilder you can check the banner setting and compare.

I'm also on a different page wrt background colour. Are we using the same Designer??

I just ran a trial of this banner/no banner option on one of my sites, and was able to create a page with a banner, and another page with no banner.

Nice find, thanks Gop
