I am wondering if it is relatively easy to create from the beginning a website that caters to both English and Spanish speaking potential customers. I do not need a translation service. I would like to be able to have a button for English and a button for Spanish
A way to do this is to duplicate each page: english and Spanish. Call each of them different names. eg: s-products and e-products.
Don't add any of these pages to your navigation menu.
That's really 90% of the work done.
On your index page:
Create your introduction in both languages for convenience. Then add a link be it a button or whatever to go t the sub-intro of each language. On this page create a custom menu for that language and this really becomes the default navigation menu.
You can add a link from each specific page to it's equivalent in the other language and users can jump to that page if they like.
