I want the same header and side menu on every page, but different content. Any suggestions on how to go about it, exactly? Thank you!

Site is sassybanana.. barely started so really there's nothing there yet.... but in case it helps...

Hello Doreen,

I am basing this reply on what I see on your site as it stands. ie variable fonts in the menu with some additional elements in each menu sub-item

The process to do what you're asking is to create a vertical menu and drop it into every page of your web-site. The page title is an easy call as it is probably automatically generated.

1. Remove the default menu
Go to edit menu and take all the entries out of the menu page

How to:

Go to "Edit Menu." The "Edit Menu" dialog allows you to determine which pages will appear in the menu and which will not. It also allows you to change the order in which they appear in the menu. If you drag a page into the "Out of Menu" box it will not appear in the menu. Drag and drop pages to rearrange the order in which they appear in the menu. ........

2. Create your vertical menu:
There are a number of free HTML vertical menu generators around. You can try
CSS Vertical Menu Generator 1.0
A free tool for WYSIWYG menu generation.
3. Drop a two column widget into the page(s) followed by an HTML place holder into the left column and then a copy of the menu HTML into this holder. Repeat this for each page

4. In the right hand side column, place a text widget. This is for the specific information of the page as you mentioned.

5. In your page title consider including the page name for each page so that your readers know where they are and it will help you in the authoring as well. You can modify this by either going into the side bar and typing the page name in the listed field or by clicking directly on the page title and modifying it there.

The header is no problem. The style you have chosen should work
