Hi DG

Sorry that you seem to be having difficulties. Lets see what we can do to get you squared away and onto site building.

Which best describes what you are experiencing?

A) I open my site builder and the page just loads and nothing else
B) I open my site builder and the widgets are all there but the "Edit" and pencil are not visible in the upper left corners of the widgets
C) I open my site builder and everything looks fine but when I click on the HTML widget nothing happens
D) I open my site builder and click one the HTML widget and the box appears but I cannot add or remove code
E) Other

Any further description by you would assure a faster resolution to your problem

What I would do in this situation is open several blank Wordpad documents and for the last few widgets you dragged onto your page

1) Click on the HTML, Widgetbox or other widget with added code and open to view the code
2) Highlight all of the code
3) Right click on the highlighted code and click "Cut" not copy
4) Then paste it into one of the the opened Wordpad documents
5) After you have copied the code delete the widget
6) Update or save changes then click the "Refresh" button in the green site builder toolbar (not the browser refresh)
7) Test that you can edit an HTML widget (if not, repeat these steps with any widgets you have added between it working and not working)

Do this until you locate the code that has the issues and remember it because you do not wish to include it again.

After you have found the problem code through these steps transfer the codes in the Wordpad documents back to your page (minus the problem code of course)

This has worked for me in the past many times...

You could

A
1) Close out your browser then reopen
2) Delete your Cache and Temp files
3) Open your editor and try again to see if you can edit the code.

B
1) Use the steps I described above as you do not need to use your keyboard to do them. (Only your mouse is required)

C If all fails then with your editor open click on the "Help" button in the upper right corner and select "Contact Support"

Reference this thread and be as descriptive as possible.

Any luck my friend???

If all else fails you may have to delete the trouble page and start over

FYI... If you delete one page be assured that the rest of your site will still be there. It only deletes the one page you are having issues with. ( I have had to do this on my Honey Bear Playhomes site countless times) ;)

I would if I were you I would
1) Open the page you are having trouble with in your browser (not your site editor preview page)
2) Right click on the page (anywhere)
3) Click "View page source" A new window will open with a bunch of code on it
4) Highlight all the text
5) Right click on the highlighted text and Click "Copy"
6) Open a Wordpad or Notepad document
7) Then Right click on the blank document and click "Paste"

With this information you can rebuild your page minus the bad code that is giving you grief. I would do it one at a time and update and view each time to find the problem code. It takes some time to learn but if you like I can walk you through it

Let me know...

Hi Guys

I am sorry to have missed this thread until now. It seems that there is a bug with editing HTML in Internet Explorer at this time. The HTML editor works in other browsers. We will try to fix this as soon as possible. In the meantime if you could try Ed's suggestion of copying and pasting or use a different browser, like Firefox, it should be ok.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience. This bug was inadvertently introduced when we made some changes to the system this week.
