Why is it that my images used on flickr search are being redirected to flickr.com instead of just opening in a new window like my other site?

Hi jjevans

This sounds like a bug. Could you share your URL with us (if your site is published) so that we can check it out.

Hi Boho

I'm sorry but the link you provided was to a password protected page and we cannot see to troubleshoot this problem for you.

I looked at your "Index" and "About me" page and I must say that it is looking really great. I do wonder though if you intended to password protect the majority of your pages. Was this your intent? I ask this because as a viewer I wanted to see those pages and was sad that they were not available to look at. How are your customers to access these pages? Are you simply waiting to unveil your wonderful pages by cutting the ribbon so to speak? For it to be troubleshooted for you a sneak peak is necessary for the time needed to investigate.

Happy site building

Hi Ed,
I am not ready to unveil and am tinkering with prices.
I have taken the password off the page. Please could you let me know what I have done wrong?

Thanks so much.

Well I am happy to inform you that you did everything right and your site looks great... Very professional.

The Flicker gallery that you chose happens to open into a enlarged image with a blacked out background upon the fingernail image being clicked. It is at this point that the viewer has the option to click on the image name to be brought to your Flickr Photostream. I know that this may not be what you were hoping that it did but alas it was designed this way.

I don't think that many will actually click on this extra link but if you feel that it is a problem you cannot live with then you can rename your images to:

Thank you for shopping
Thank you for shopping.
Thank you for shopping..
Thank you for shopping...
Thank you for shopping....
Thank you for shopping.....

By adding a period after the "Thank you for shopping you have many images each named something different and less conspicuous. On a positive note: The Photostream opens in a new window and does not close your site out... This is a positive way to look at it. ;)

Just a though for you to ponder...

Happy site building

I think I just ran into the same. I added a "Flickr search" instead of "flickr gallery" (which I'm using on a different page) and when I click on the thumbnail, it directs me to the flickr site instead of popping up the image. With Flickr gallery, the image pops up... Help?
