<!--You can change color of page title in banner without creating your own banner... I double clicked on the name... to bring up the change title box... and typed in <FONT color="FFBB33">Health and Fitness
-->

and wow... it worked...

changed from dark gray (default) to a yellowish color - although not the color I want, I was just testing...

knowing about html has it's benefits. If I didn't know a little about html, I wouldn't have known to try that. This may also work for changing it's size and gives us many benefits. I've known people (here in yola) to create a banner and have to apply it to all pages simply because they want a different color and size page title. Not anymore.

Since I'm on the topic of page title colors... do you think the current pink background and a red page title are good colors for a health and fitness section to my site?

Honestly, it looks like Pepto Bismol. I guess it's related to health but not sure that's what you're trying to convey! lol

Very clever! I just tried it and it works. I don't usually use the page heading but it's nice to know for the future.

Hey Guys

Just be careful with this kind of stuff. Sometimes by not correctly closing a tag or inputting something incorrectly can break your site. So, as always, be sure to test on a test page first.

yea, that was my mistake by not closing the tag... I also didn't close the tag when I tried it in the sitebuilder... but you know... yola's smart... it added the <!-- </FONT> --> tag all by itself... which I should've added and I know that!

I'll let you know when I'm ready to start attending to my submit article page and you can submit an article if you'd like... I'll add it. Or you could always submit an article to my email and I'll get to it eventually. If you're going by what you've learned rather than what you're reading... write self knowledge as it's source. You don't need to source information that you've "learned"... but I'll give the credit to you instead of other sources like books.

I was actually a Certified Nursing Assistant for quite awhile... learned a lot... how to pick up a 500 pound woman alone, change old people's diapers, lol... feed people that can't barely chew food themselves, etc... plus a little related to health such as how to take blood pressure (with a manual blood pressure cuff).

Buy anyways, I've heard the question many times before, "can you change the color of your yola page title" or something... and the answer has always been no you can't but you can create your own banner with a custom font... even yola employees say this... well... problem solved! I'll be nominating myself for web designer of the year, any votes? LOL JK.

that reminds me... Over the last six days, four of those days I've earned revenue totaling $2.17... which... compared to $30.99 in 7 months... is actually good. Showing a small improvement like that is a sign that maybe a big improvement's coming. I also get a descent amount of traffic now too... Maybe it has something to do with google. A week ago 199 of my pages were indexed... and today... 226. I get found ocassionally on google, bing, yahoo, and ask... probably between 2 and 15 times a day.

It's confirmed... html FULLY works in the title...

http://sitebuilder.yola.com/sites/D7d...

I have two lines to my title, both different formats, the "slogan" line is also part of the title and even indented...

however, I'm not sure how to move the slogan line closer to the title... if anyone knows, let me know please!

I love experimenting with things... you tend to discover great opportunities.

To answer my question above about moving the slogan line closer... I think I know why it's not closer... the default in the title is the large space you see. What I need is the code to change the line spacing from it's default state to a closer state. I'm going to bed, but would love to know what I can add to the code to make this happen. Thanks!
