I'm working on a website http://www.vintageseriesbooks.com for my sister who currently sells books on ebay. My sons agreed to be models to help out Aunt Chris. The site's not quite finished yet but I can't resist showing off my dollies! Any comments or suggestions on the site are also welcome.

I wasn't sure if your "dollies" were going to be kids, cats or dolls! LOL

Very cute kids and how nice to have them featured in such great shots.

Very nice site work too. You deserve to be a proud Mama and a proud site builder.

Thanks very much, Margie. I did wonder if someone might think it was a site about dolls. LOL Dollies is an expression we use a lot around here. :)

Looks great ....The only thing is in places where text is over a photo it makes the text hard to read....You could fade the photos where this happens a little and let the text have more contrast against it

Thanks. Can you tell me where you're seeing text over a photo? I don't have anything like that, that I can think of. Sounds like one of those annoying browser things! Which browser are you using? If it is the browser, I'll have to figure out how to make it look good in it. Thanks for letting me know.

I see it in Firefox latest version and Chrome...I have some of those annoying cross browser issues here and there also.

Aw Diane, you're a gal after my own heart : )

I love those Nancy Drew books!

The text over the photo issue did come up for me on FF but only while the page was still loading. Once it fully loaded, the text jumped down to its rightful spot.

I did notice on your Nancy Drew page, the picture took a bit of time to load. You may want to double check your image size there.

Otherwise, as always, a superb job Diane!

Thanks, Sanja. I have been working on a site for the boys but unfortunately, it's the one that keeps getting pushed to the backburner. One of these days I'm just going to have to sit down and finish it! I'll check on the picture, thanks, it must have slipped by me.
