I can't view my website any more

It's some months since I looked at my website (josidebottom.co.uk) and I've just made some changes, republished, and nothing loads. I can preview them in edit mode but when I type in the URL www.josidebottom.co.uk, nothing loads. It's not my domain name because I can't access the IP address 208.75.208.172, either via a browser or by pinging it. It just times out.

It's not a problem on this PC/broadband connection because I've tried it on various PCs with various different connections.

Many thanks,
Jo

Hi, I don't think that you are aware about the DoS attack that Yola had last month. Well, they had a DoS (Denial of Service) attack and they where forced to change there IP address. So, yes, it is your domain name that isn't working. You have to point both of your A records to 184.72.229.176 The old one does not work anymore. Please edit your A records in your DNS settings to point to 184.72.229.176 Then, wait for about 24 hours (Usually less) and it should work. Here is a topic about this attack:
Instructions for Yola use effected by the DoS attack.

Please let me know if you have any other problems.

I hope this helps!

Hi Jo

I am sorry to hear that your website is still down. As Nathan has rightly said, we had a DoS attack, which meant that we had to change our IP Address.

You can read more about our what happened on our blog.

Nathan, thanks for the detailed response. Well done! :)

Thank you
Nazlie

Thanks to both of you. I still had a bit of trouble, but in the end I completely deleted and re-added the A records for my DNS and it now works. Many thanks again for your help.
