I tried to add some google gadgets. They did not show. Then later when previewing, much of my content and picture were gone and just a bunch of html code shows at the bottom. I saved some but did not publish. Any way to back track and NOT publish, AND go back to original work and published template?
SOS..new at this and it was just beautiful before....

Hello Lise,

Most importantly don't click the Publish button.

There is no utility that allows a click back or undo for the sitebuilder after you have saved the changes, so that isn't an option.

There is a solution. Go to your published site and select your page that has been changed in the sitebuilder. Right click your mouse on a background area of your page and a popup will appear. Select View Source and a page of HTML code will be displayed. This is all the code related to that page before your recent changes. Print this out immediately.

With this source code then you can compare this to your changed code on the same page within your sitebuilder. Remember that the page you printed is now your primary reference and that you need to alter the information on the equivalent page in the sitebuilder. Some of the code may be confusing as any widgets will be displayed as code on the printed page and may be confusing. Happy to walk you through a fix if you're prepared to take it slow and steady. There are quite a number of strategies to get you back to where you were but most importantly don't hit the publish button

Hello Lise

Have you tried removing the Google Gadget Widgets again to see if your content reappears? If you didn't change anything about the Google Gadget code or added more custom code, It sounds like incorrect Google Gadget coding may have changed and broken your page. In any case you should remove the Google Gadgets Widgets or any widget to which you added custom coding.
