About a year ago, I created a website for somebody. Here it is: http://www.evansgamesite.yolasite.com But, this is the only Yola site I know of that lets the urls work without .php at the end. Try this page: http://www.evansgamesite.yolasite.com... It does not change the / to a .php But on the rest of the sites they all go to .php at the end but on this website it lets it stay with the / at the end without php. I don't know if I added a code or what but it is cool. I wish this is how all websites are. Does anyone know what would be causing this? I like how it is like this but I wish I knew what was doing it so I could d it on the rest of my sites.

Thanks in advance!
Nathan

Nathan, looking at that site, the only page that does not have the .php at the end is the home page. How is that different than any other yola site?

call me confused

ETA I used the navigation to go to the other pages and all have the .php on the end.

Hi, it was making all of the pages not have the .php at the end. You can't click the navigation links because those link to the pages with the .php at the end already. Just take off the .php and then if it stays like that it is different. I don't know maybe it is just my browser. But it only does it to this website. And all others for me always have .php at the end. I wish our sites can be like the Yola one, where there is not any extensions, it looks better and nicer without them. I am using Google Chrome 7.0.517.44 (latest version)

Hi Nathan,

I would need to try and get more information on why this would be happening as I don't really know.

Yeah I just noticed this tonight. If you go to my regular website which is http://nathansmusicstudio.cz.cc and it is all regular. But, this other site is not like the rest of them. Like if you click the menu links the pages will have .php at the end but you can take a .php of and replace it with a / and it will stay after you push enter but on the other sites it fills that in with .php instead. I wish they where all like this. They aren't blog pages. They are regular pages. So I don't know why it's doing this. I am sure we will be able to find the problem.

Thanks,
Nathan

Hello Nathan - we did make a change on our side where .php is included in the default address of a site's page (excluding the home page).

I think the site you've listed hasn't been republished for some time (since we made the change). If you republish it, it will probably change the way the page URLs work at the moment.

HI Nathan - there isn't a plan to change the URL format at this time.

Thanks. I wish it was without .php someday because it looks nicer. Do you know why it was changed?
