I know how to make the links in our navigation go to an external website! To do this, follow these steps:

1. First, click "Edit Navigation"
2. Then, click on the "settings" on the link you want to go to another website.
3. In the "Navigation text" put the following:

<!--

<a href="HTTP://WWW.EXAMPLE.COM">Navigation Text</a>

-->

4. Save it and your done!

- Now, when you click that tab, it will go to the website you specified in the code! So, you don't have to put the redirect code in the page anymore, you can just do this and right when you click it, it goes right to the page! If you want it to be a pop up window, just put in target="_blank" after the "HTTP://WWW.EXAMPLE.COM"

So it would look like this:

<!--

<a href="HTTP://WWW.EXAMPLE.COM" target="blank">Navigation Text</a>

-->

Remember to remove all of the and the <-- parts in any code I put in this topic!

I hope this helps any of you that where wanting a way to do this!

Hi Nathan,

Not a bad idea but it actually leaves the original page in the menu. So the original page (redirect or other) is still actually there in the menu.

I would be tempted to continue using a redirect or of course the best solution create a custom menu.

Lee.

Yeah, but if it is the menu, does it really matter? I just created extra pages, and one is named "status-blog" and th eother is "nathans-msuic-studio-blog" And I put reditrects on those pages still, just incase someone goes to that page. So the pages have a redirect but the lnik in the menu just goes right to the blog. I put a Status Blog, and a Blog, so when someone clicks on Blog, it goes to our Blogger Blog and when someone clicks on Status Blog, it goes to our Blogger Status Blog!
