I need help connecting the domain I bought through yola to the website I designed through WIX. I created a new servername and I added an A Record for wix ip address... now what?

Hello Dillon,

If you are going to keep Yola as your domain name registrar than you do not need to change your name servers, just your A Record to point towards Wixs' ip address.

Did you follow through the instructions in our tutorial or instructions that were given to you by a support agent to make the changes? Here is a link to the tutorial: Yola DNS.

Once your settings are configured you just need to publish your site with Wix, their support will be able to give you instructions on how to do this.

Let us know if you are still having trouble.

Ok. So how do i undo the name server that I made. When I go to the advanced domain settings... its says the following.

"You currently have no domains.
There are no domain names because have not published a site yet.

To publish a site:
» Go to your site
» Click 'Publish My Site'"

Please reply soon...

Hi Dillon,
Can you email support@yoal.com and we can assist you from there. We will need a bit more information about your account so we can take a look at it.

Thanks,
Emmy

Hi Dillon,
The support team here will respond within 24 hours of a support request and usually much quicker. Have you checked your Spam folder to see if an email might have gone there from us? I will also check our support database with your email to see if I can locate your previous support requests. But for now just send an email to support@yola.com. Thanks.

Thank you sooo much! You have been by far the most helpful person I have encountered yet in this whole ordeal. I did recieve one email from someone named Monique this morning. It was her instruction that I though I followed to corect the problem, but i only made things worse. Instead of replacing my poorly made yola site with my much better wix one, not i dont even have the poor yola one. It just says "Your site is pointing to yola"... LOL... will this day every end.

Hi Dillon,
I have received your email to support. I do see that Monique responded to two support emails from you today. We can take a closer look at your domain settings and will get back to you soon. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Dillon,

Your site is pointing to Wix and you can view it by clicking on this link: http://www.samscakecompany.com/.

If you are still seeing your Yola site, please click on the refresh button in your browser or clear your browser's cache (http://www.google.com/support/account....
