Hi, when you transfer a domain, you will need to pay for your domain because when it goes to the Yola system, it makes a new billing cycle and it doesn't pick up from were you where on the other domain registrar. Is this the answer you needed, or is there something else I am not getting?

P.S When you type in ALL CAPITAL letters on the internet, it means you are yelling. I am sure you didn't mean to do that, I am just letting you know. :)

That certainly didn't happen when I transferred a currently registered domain from Google to Yola about 2 years ago. The billing cycle remained as it was and no extra fees were incurred until the beginning of the next cycle.

I think your best bet is to wait for an answer from Yola on this one.

Hello there,

I have sent your question to our payments department. They will be getting back to you within 24 hours with regards to your email.

Please note that when transferring your domain to Yola it can take up to 10 days to transfer your domain (usually less though) This is the nature of transferals on the internet as it needs to be released by your registrar and then accepted by ours.

I hope this helps until one of our payments team can comment on the thread.

Hi Hecho - if you've emailed us (support@yola.com), then we'll answer you there. In the meantime, could you post the domain name that you transferred so that we can look up the details? It sounds like the transfer may have failed and we'll be able to find out why and try again (at no extra charge).
