I want to start a new site with a completely blank page but when I select this option I get a page with a header and footer. Header contains the word index and the footer facebook and twitter stuff, how can I remove these and why are they even there when I select BLANK page?

Hello Kenny,

Index is the default and reserved name for the home page. You can remove this from displaying by Page → Page Properties → Navigation → (uncheck the green arrow on your Index (Home) page). This action won't, however, remove the reserved space. To do this you need to edit the CSS. Happy to help if this is what you want to do?

To remove the footer, you will see this option when you first login to your sitebuilder displaying your site. There is a facility there for removing the footer.

Hello Kenny,

Can you tell me the style that you wish to use ? (Each style has a different layout and the code isn't universal).

You need to consider also how you will manage the page ID for each page since removing the space will also remove the ability for readers to select a specific page without reconstructing a page menu. This is fine for a single page site but requires a lot of planning for a multi page site, certainly can be done but is best done with a very clear vision of your end product.

Hi I use a super flat style. The site won't be huge so building a page menu shouldn't be so much of a problem.

Thanks
Kenny
