Can I add a search to my site so customers can locate an item without having to go through each page?

I have a search tool which should work on my site but I think I need to do more with meta tags before it will function correctly. It just uses google's search engine to search your pages for info.

I believe I got the script from here: http://www.javascriptkit.com

You can see how I used it here: http://ergoapparel.com

If anyone else knows of a more user friendly tool I would be interested in assessing that as well.

Hi manyfeather,

In addition to Krazycalves great suggestion, you can use this option:

Add a Google search box by using the Widgetbox Gallery:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page.
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the Google category.
3. Click on 'Google Search'.
4. Edit your settings (to add your site URL and your logo).
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page.
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget.

Add a Google search box with Google Gadgets:
1. Open the widgets folder - in the side bar at the right of your screen.
2. Drag and drop a Google Gadgets widget onto your page.
3. A dialogue box will open up with a link to Google Gadgets. Click on this link.
4. You will then be taken to Google Gadgets, find a search box, customize it as desired and copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the dialogue box in SynthaSite.
