Hi,

I want to create a java banner rotator script using this tool:
http://www.htmlbasix.com/banner.shtml
However, I don't know where (possibly a image host or whatever) to upload the pictures to from my computer that give me URLs to the actual pictures to put on that creator tool on the page above. Yola doesn't provide you with URLs, does it? Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Siamak,

You can upload the images into your File Manager. The subsequent URL of the image will be: resources/image-name.jpg

The image name would be different for each image uploaded. the .jpg extension can be other file type extension names like .png; .gif etc.

url for link 1:
url of image:
alt text:

Here the url for link1 would be the address that you wish a user to link to when clicking an image in your banner.

URL of image would be the address of your image in the File Manager as outlined above

alt text is a short description of each of your images for the purpose of describing the image.

Hope this helps and happy to take this further if needed.

Hello Ian,

The rotator referred to in this thread is the Javascript Banner Rotator Generator by HTML Basix. You go to that link and input the data that would be supplied by your affilliates through sharesasale into the banner rotator generator. It then produces the HTML code required for producing a rotating banner with your affiliate links etc, for adding to your website.

I would need to see the code and details supplied to you by your affiliates. I could then tell what needs to be placed where in the generator. You can mail this if you like to: gop@great-sillage.info
