For a silent benefit auction, a friend has donated a very nice handmade electric guitar and he has built an html file with pictures and text describing it. How can I link to this file on my yola website such that a vistor (potential bidder) can click on a link and see this very infomative and phot rich html page? Thanks.

Hello Ella,

To be able to link to a html file, it needs to be uploaded first. Although Yola doesn't allow html files to be uploaded. I am sure you can find a hosting site that lets you upload html files and then use the link they give you. You can link an html file with a simple href tag. Here is an example: <!--
<A href="guitar.html">View guitar's info</A>
-->
Just change the "guitar.html" to whatever the name of the file is. And then change the "view guitar's info" to whatever you want. Let me know when this auction is on. I may be interested!

Thank you Dan. The auction IS on and I JUST got the info on the guitar tonight! Your idea sounds very workable, however, I had already started reproducing my friends page in a new yolasite page, and I think it already looks better than the original. This is thanks to features such as being able to add frames to his photos and add blank space between adjacent photos. Thank you so much, I will use your idea next time I need an html file to load.
