I am with godaddy and my domain name and website tonight is due for renewal in July. I would like to leave godaddy and move my domain name to your site and well as my already developed site. Can someone tell me how to go about doing this. Thanks

To help prepare your domain to transfer away from Go Daddy you will want to review this help guide at Go Daddy.com.

Please note that your site developed in WebSite Tonight cannot be moved as you will not have access to the files developed using the WebSite Tonight software.

Hi Deborah,

To add the Yola requirements to your needs you have a couple of options:

Both options require you to have a hosting plan with Yola (Bronze or Silver)

  1. Transfer your domain to Yola

  2. or
  3. Publish to a domain you already own.

The second option is the fastest cheapest way to go. Your domain would still be registered with GoDaddy and any DNS manipulations you may wish to do would be with their DNS Management tool.

As Mike has said the site is not transferable both from the limitations of the GoDaddy files plus the Yola files are different and the Yola system requires that you build your site with the Yola Sitebuilder.
