Icon Size Advice Please

Hello,

I would like to add icons to my site that represent different types of website categories, such as hairdressers, mechanics etc.

I have found some great free icons, which were recommended to me by the Yola support team, but I need to resize them, which is fine, I can do that in PS. However, I'm not sure of the sizing convention for the web. I'm currently experimenting with two icons one at 70 pixels square with the other at 80 pixels square.

I would be grateful if anyone could view my web page with these two different sized icons and if possible make suggestions as to the best possible size for my icons. The web page can be found at: http://www.web-design-expert.co.uk/we...

Many thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris
This is purely a matter of choice, personally I prefer the smaller of the two but someone else may have a different opinion, there is no benchmark to technically answer your question.

Nice style, which is it?

Hi David,

Thanks for your feedback. I agree, I like the smaller of the icons too.

The style of the website is called "Professional Slate".

Thanks,

Chris
