The new -released kidsCorner Template looks great, it seems to allow uploading an icon beside the title on top of the page, but after I upload the icon, it doesn't show up on the page. Why is that? Thanks.

Hi Vivian,

Are you referring to the favicon or the banner image?

To see the favicon, (the picture next to your URL in the top of your browser), save and preview your page - it won't show in the Site Builder.

Please note that Internet Explorer doesn't allow favicons to be displayed next to your URL or on the tab of the window. The favicon will be displayed if the site is bookmarked and in your Favourites folder. The best option would be to change to FireFox who do show the favicons in all three areas!

To change the banner image:
- Click on the white instruction box that says "click here to change banner image"
- The file manager will open up that will allow you to browse your computer for a picture to upload.
- When you are done, click "ok" and your own image will replace the default image
- If the dimensions are not quite right you can fix this by choosing the "edit with Picnik" option in the file manager.

I hope that helps - please let us know if you meant something else entirely?!

Hi Vivian - Firefox is a browser, like Internet Explorer! I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. You would need to download and install it on your computer, you can visit www.firefox.com to get more information. Remember that you don't need to uninstall the browser you're currently using, you can use both at the same time.

Sorry to ask another dumb question. Does that mean all the people who visit my webpage need to have firefox in order to view the favicon on my webpage? Or just me as a website builder? Thanks.

No problem! If visitors to your site have Internet Explorer, they will only be able to see the favicon if the site is bookmarked and in the Favourites folder.

If our visitors have Firefox they will be able to see the favicon in all three areas described in an earlier post above!
