Firefox uses better image rendering engines than IE7......Sadly though most people still use IE7 to surf the web.....Most of us check our sites on several browsers to make sure we are OK on all of them.....If you look OK on IE7 you will look awesome on Firefox.

Dont worry-all good now!

Just increase the pic size and it works a charm.

Cheers

have you set the font type in synthasite?
It shouldnt look like that in IE7.

Maybe there is other code attached to it.
You could try to copy it into a notepad then copy it back into synthasite, you would however lose any style changes you have made, it would come back as normal text, but after you reapply the style changes it should look better in IE.
Do it on a test area first, then if it works you can get the whole thing done. Lee.

Ok- I found if blow the pictures right up in ie7 they are ledgable- now the only problem is that ie7 keeps chopping off the bottom of the page? (which has happened before?)

http://radiosnextlevel.synthasite.com

Firefox shows the whole site-

ie 7 chops the bottom off AND has margin problems (the width of the content gets wider 3 quarters down the page after my last major diagram-and I cant adjust it in synthasite-nothing changes?)

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello Dyah,

I think the problem is with the resolution of your images plus the way that IE7 renders pictures (different with each browser).

If you have access to your original pictures I would use a different format than jpg file type. Maybe ".png" type, partciularly for ext within an image. This allows a greater flexibility when resizing the apparent size of your pictures. So if you could convert your originals to "png" with an image manipulation program that should help.

It may also be made worse because you seem to have copied your body text from Word or something similar. This is a very risky thing to do as it can add "rogue" code and have an unpredictable effect on your page. You can copy your text into Notepad and then Paste it into your page. That will remove any "rogue" code. (There are now better ways to do this under trial.)

Summary for suggested fix:

1. Convert your images into "png" format.
2. Open your body text with Notepad and Paste it from notepad.

I think this will fix your problems

Just like to add that there seems to be a few problems appearing with IE particularly at this time. Those problems will resolve quickly I'm sure.

Dyah, goodluck working this out.
