Hello Angie,

You can use custom fonts with Yola and change the colours beyond what are offered through the standard facilities. With Yola Silver you can apply this/(these) sitewide rather than page wide as in other subscriptions.

Google and others have a library of custom fonts with a number of script style fonts and the colours can be selected from any colour chart displaying these codes for a web-page.

This can be utilised by calling the font from the library and it will display on all (?) computers. It does require the use of some code on your page or site. if you wish to learn the use of these please let us know.

Apologies Angie. Jargon!

For example if you go to the link I mentioned and browse through the fonts to find one that you prefer then click "Quick-use". You will see a notice telling you to add this code to your website. So you take an HTML widget from the right column in your builder and drag it onto your page. Copy the Google code mentioned then paste it into your HTML widget.

To use this font then in your site you can then change the CSS for the font styles pre-determined by the style and replace it with the name as indicated: Integrate the fonts into your CSS:

Angie,

The standard facilities I was referring to are the colour selections within the Yola font colour options provided. You can extend this colour range by using codes that are published on various websites colour charts.

Angie..I suggest that you take advantage of having Yola Silver and make a test site. You have said you are not techy and I assume new to this.Gop and David are offering great help in a work around but you need to know that a mistake in doing this can cause you problems. If you make a test site and can't get things to work there while you are learning at least your main site is still fine.

I don't think Angie has silver as yet so to upgrade to achieve this when it can be carried out quite simply within a free or bronze account may be a waste of money, even with a silver account a certain amount of understanding is required and a test site is of course an option with free or bronze. The choice is obviously yours Angie, remember the non-silver way requires coding on every page which may be a fair bit of work if you have several pages. I can help you through the procedure if you wish to maintain your present account level.
