Hi,

Not quite sure what you are meaning here? I don't know what you mean when you say "if I switch when I click publish..."

Yola built sites can't be published on the Jimdo platform and likewise Jimdo built sites can't be published on the Yola platform. You need to create the sites from the ground up with the sitebuilder you wish to publish on.

You can however transfer or point domains that may have been purchased from one or another registrar. For example if you bought a custom domain through Yola you could point this domain to Jimdo servers and publish your Jimdo site to this domain. This presumes that your Jimdo package allows you to point domains to their servers. The complexity of this process is limited by both the registrars CP and the hosting service infrastructure.

If you mean are changes able to be made after first publishing your site then yes, you can change the site as many times as you like.
