Hello EJ

Do you have Yola Silver?

If you have Yola Silver you can link it to Yola. If you don't you are welcome to transfer your domain to Yola.

Please do let me know if you have Silver or not.

Thanks,
Nathan

I don't have yola silver. To expensive for me. I'm only 20 trying to start my own business on a 3 day a week wage. So this $20 for 2 years domain was a good deal for me. Any way you can help that doesn't cost me or is very small in cost would help. The domain is www.bitsofbeauty.org if that helps.

I do disagree how they took away the domain pointing on Yola Free, but, they had to because of some security issues.

Would you like to transfer your domain name to Yola? If so, you can, and the domains are about $20/yr on Yola. So if you transfer it, you'll have to pay $20/yr and thats it and you get:

-Upgraded, state-of-the-art website protection
-Premium quality hosting for round-the-clock care and fewer down times
-Advanced global DNS management to quickly allow you to make domain changes yourself
-Award-winning support team available 24/7
-Instant setup gets your website online in no time

They are making a price change on their domains, but good news, it wont effect .org domains! Here is the announcement: Announcement regarding custom domains

If you want to transfer your domain to Yola, here is a tutorial on that: Tutorial: Transferring your domain to Yola

I hope this helps!

If I transfer the domain will I have to pay again? Cause I just paid the $20 for the domain today... does that mean I'll have to pay another $20 to yola?

Hello EJ, I just found out that your domain must be registered for more than 60 days to be able to transfer your domain. Would you be ok with using a .yolasite.com domain name for about 60 days until your domain is eligible for transfer? If not, you can still forward your domain (such as "domain masking"), but then i will put your site in a frame and you can't link to individual separate pages. But, if you are happy with a .yolasite.com domain or domain forwarding (which is free) then I can tell you how to do domain forwarding.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Yeah I read about the 60day thing too. I guess I will just have to wait. I'm not in too much of a hurry. I'll just see if I can cancel my other domain and get the one off here right away. If not the sub-domain is fine.

Hi EJ, since you just bought your domain, I don't know if you will be able to cancel it, because you already bought it for a year, right?

If you choose a sub domain name, you'll just have to have that for 60 days and then after 60 days you will be able transfer the domain you bought and it will be set up with your site after the transferring process is completed.
