Image and Text Widgets: Cannot save settings -- or remove the hyperlink

I added a panel to my home page, then added a 'click here' button image to the panel. When I mouse-over the button and click on 'edit', and set the alignment to 'center' the Yola Website Builder jumps to a different page -- and will not save the alignment setting. If I try to change the hyperlink setting, the same thing happens, and the new hyperlink is not saved. (Two screen caps are attached - showing the button image and properties menu.)

The same thing happens if I add a Text Widget to a panel. I cannot set the external margins for the panel, or enter and edit the text.

I deleted the panel and text / image widgets, and recreated them multiple times, with the same result.

This appears to be a significant problem with the Editor, that blocks site design.

I am using the latest version of Chrome, with Windows 7.

I found a cause and work-around for this problem. Within SiteBuilder, the Href (hyperlink) for the "Contact Us" page in the nav bar was apparently being applied to the entire Home page.

When a margin option was changed on "Donate Here" on the Home page, for example, the browser executed the phantom hyperlink before SiteBuilder's code could save the margin setting -- and the browser jumped to the Contact Us page.

Deleting "Contact Us" from the nav bar solved the problem.

This is a maddening issue that Yola's team should investigate.

Hello Mark

Thank you for your post. I've checked your website in your Yola account, but as you've done the workaround already, I wasn't able to replicate the problem you reported.

However, I've noticed a few errors. Your Site CSS Overrides contain invalid code. When I check the left overrides box in your CSS editor, I can see that there is a semicolon missing after the font-size attribute. Also, there is an incorrect bracket to close the tag.

Your "Home" link in your menu is of a larger font size than the other menu links. When I check your Home page in your Page Manager and I click on "Edit", I can see that HTML code has been added to the "Label" box. This is not the right place to add custom code, and it may have been the reason for the problem you reported. The Label box should be used to enter the name of the page which you'd like to display in the menu. It's not suitable to add custom code. What you enter into the Hover Text box will display when your visitors hover over the link with their mouse.

If you want to edit the font size of your navigation menu links, you will need to do this using the Site CSS Overrides. If you need assistance with this, please let me know.

Please review the spots I listed, and let me know should you still encounter problems with linking and editing widgets.
