Hi guys,

I have an image file in my filemanager called FaceBook.jpg -- when i added the file through a text widget using code i had wrote the file as facebook.jpg -- The file showed up in the editor and on the preview page but when the site was published it didnt show the image at all in firefox and IE showed it like an X.

I dont know if there is anything you could do about this, but it could be confusing for users. Its the fact it showed fine in the builder and the preview that was confsuing.

After i changed the code to read FaceBook.jpg all is now well.

Lee.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for posting this - I'm sure other people have a similar question!

When you're adding the path to a file in code that you're adding to your site, you will need to make sure that the format of the file name is identical to the file name you've uploaded in the File Manager. This includes any upper or lower case letters.

The fact that it displays in the site builder and not on the published site, may cause some confusion and we'll make our development team aware of this.
