Image Horizontal / Vertical Spacing?

Images currently don't have horizontal spacing added in the CSS. So, when using Left or Right align, the text bumps up against the image. There is plenty of space around an image widget, but if I embed the image in the text flow, then there is no margin.
You can see these issues in my example site Here:

In a related problem, there is no way to Left or Right align images when they are embedded in a Blog Post.

Thanks for listening,

Hey Windy,

Thanks for your message. You can definitely add a padding value to your image code that will allot a space between your picture and text. For example, if you add this image code:

<img src="resources/image.jpg" width="100" height="50" padding="10px">Text goes here

You will get a padding of 10px between your image and the text. You can adjust the padding value until you reach your desired spacing.

I hope you find this helpful. Please let us know if you struggle adding this.

Sorry to hear that. Clearly writing naked HTML is not something that my clients will be comfortable with. I continue to hope that Yola will become a website builder for folks with no HTML knowledge who are trying to run a small business rather than only as a convenience tool for web site professionals.

Much of Yola is right for these clients, but there are a few missing issues.

Thanks for a wonderful, and I hope, continuing to evolve product.

Most of us are running a small business and Yola suits many small business owners perfectly...The types of businesses that Yola suits best are products and or services offered companies. For those looking to start the next facebook or eBay that isn't going to happen on Yola or any of the other companies offering the type of service that Yola offers.

John is right you can't start the next big social website on Yola, you have to be a professional to do this. You have to know how to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and more. Yola is for personal Like Yola was built with all HTML (with CSS and other stuff) They didn't use a website builder for this because you can't. It wont work because there are too much stuff to add. But, hopefully someday Yola will have padding for the text widget image.

Hello Windy

We always like to find ways of improving our product and much of our direction comes from our Yola users!

I am happy to pass along this idea to our Product Team to take under future consideration.
