Check out a product called fancybox, and see if it would be compatable with the level of membership you have.
I recall a number of topics on this forum dealing with sliders, slideshows, lightbox displays - there is an answer here somewhere.

Hello Jrsister,

Another solution would be to create an animated image. There are a number of software programs on the market, some free, that can be used to combine multiple images or video into an animated image. Here is an article with some software suggestions and info: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,...

Hi Jrsister,

The facility you are describing is called a "slider". There are a lot of these available for free and paid subs. Once again it may be easier if you see a couple that you consider appealing by a google search. Look for CSS implementations rather than Flash as this allows the broadest range of compatibility. Let us know and we can check suitability for you.

Hi Jrsister,

bxslider is a very good plugin, possibly one of the better. It's a little complex to implement as the instructions for customisation and implementation are spread over a couple of not so easily discovered websites.

Happy to work with you on bxslider but you may find Easyslider just that :)
There's also another commercial product that is very easy to use and has a free use implementation as well for non-commercial sites I think. I will chase it up as well as I just can't recall the name on the short order.

I promised you a 12 hour lead time on another issue but feeling a little distracted after some surgery. Sure I'll be up to it tomorrow and apologies for this delay.

its fine ill be willing to use anything that works and is easy on the explaining for you as wel, my problem with the sliders is they require me to input css codes some way into the site if easy slider is the same way it would help alot if you explain how i can put it up.

I promise :)

Generally there is some fixed code and some variable code which allows the customisation (eg; specific images, borders, style of sliding in and out etc)

CSS itself is no bogeyman and is a structured proform for the HTML like code. It may be added via HTML widgets for single page additions , it may be implemented differently for sitewide use or it may be selectively implemented for specific and not across the board implementation.

I will endeavour to give you relatively specific code and instructions; how and where to implement it, depending on your vision for the specific use. We can taste test it as you go until you're happy with the outcome. It really comes down to our communication and it won't beat you down :)
