This is frustrating - tried Firefox, Chrome and Opera and nothing happens with any image I upload. They're very small, ve waited for 30 mins at a time and nothing happens.

Hello sdgcameron,

I am sorry to hear this. Please can you try clearing the cache in your browser? Also, can you share the names of your image files that you're trying to upload?

I did clear the cache, I deleted absolutely everything from the beginning of time.

I'm trying to upload jpegs of 40-60kb, individually (in case that would work), but nothing.

The system worked for a couple of hours after following advice on the forum but then I just got the 'uploading your image' thing circling around for an hour at a time, until I close everything down and start again. This is even after I re-clear my history for the nth time.

Updating Firefox hasn't worked either and I've given up doing anything on Chrome. I thought it might have been a flash problem but that's up-to-date too.

Before I ask for your help in that way I'd like to try every avenue and persevere for a bit, before I completely give up, just because if I get the problem in the future and need to act pdq, I'd need to know what the problem was.

Could it be a shockwave problem - have people reported this before?

As I said, I managed a few pics before, it just seems that clearing the cache doesn't always have the desired effect.

Hi WhatLarks

If clearing the cache does not help, then there are a few other things you can check (if you have not already done so):

  • Check that the file you're uploading is in the web-friendly RGB format. You will be able to do so from a graphics program such as Adobe Photoshop. This will most likely only happen if you edited the picture in a graphics program.

  • Try switching to a different web browser.

  • Check that you have an updated version of Adobe Flash installed.

If the problem persists, please email the picture to us at support@yola.com and we can take a look at what might be causing the problem.

Thank you
Nazlie
