We all know how important it is to use alt text for our images to help us show in image search.I want to share another result of this practice.I put product images in many places on my site, not just on a category or product page.I have a page on my site with information about the types of wood used to make the products I sell.Of course this gives me reason to show examples of the products created so I added a few images. The images have alt tags and a text link pointing to their respective product pages. The result for this one image comes up in a web search for the term"wood end tables" this is on the first page. The far left image is mine and links to my site. The point is that all these little things we do add up and you may not see results right away but over time you will....They also may come up linked to any of your pages

You are welcome.....Just wanted to show others that you actually do get results from proper alt tags on all images....Not only in image search...Google at times takes images like what happened to me and adds them on pages in normal web search.Of course this is a dynamic feature and the images will change....When one of mine appears as above I can tell you I do get a jump in site visits.
