Ok so ive been having some trouble with a few thing in yola recently. Just when i was about to purchase a domain name and upgrade my account. My pages have been all out of line, been missing videos. I have a new macbook and have been using firefox, but then these troubles started. Ive deleted browser history and all that jazz. Enbeded urls in and nothing helped so i was then informed to try safari. that was worst. Then i was informed to use Explorer but that was even worst. tried Safari and that didnt work. Now ive tried Internet Explorer and that didnt work. Im running out of options here. Firefox was working perfectly for a while until the site shut down for maintenance the other day. And there does not seem to be any browsers that work anymore. Surely this is not right. What are other mac users using??? Im still missing video in my main site too. Any final suggestions before i start looking elsewhere for web site builders???

Hello Shaun

I'm sorry to hear that you're having so much trouble. I would be feeling frustrated as well. Can you please post your site URL so that I can see what's going on or if you wish, you can email support@yola.com and I can help you from there.

hi. thanx. my url is http://freetruthnow.yolasite.com/ ...
Fire fox is my preferred browser to work with but when ive got the builder site open all my slide shows and videos are off line and to the right, the page seems to be a little wider than when i started. but when i open the preview they are in the middle, where i need them. There is also a video missing. It shows up in my builder page and the preview but not in the actual website when i search it in the browser. I really just want to keep working on my site but ive had to stop because of all this. And like ive said i want to upgrade and get a domain name but i need to know that everything can work smoothly and efficiently. Im sure you understand as i can understand that these sorts of mistakes and errors can occur from time to time. But yeah i need to see a fix soon or i will have to look at other site builders...
Thanks very much for your time and help. Hopefully it can be resolved.

Hi Shaun

I've received your email in support and have responded to you there. I'll also post my response here in case others may have come across the same issue as you regarding your videos.

It appears you are encountering a bug. This is a bug on our side with the YouTube Widget when using Firefox. This does not affect your published site, it is only manifesting in the Site Builder. Our engineers are aware of the problem and will be working on a fix. If this makes editing your site in the Site Builder difficult, for the time being, a workaround would be to either edit your site using Internet Explorer as this problem is not affecting Site Builders in those browsers.

Another option would be to embed the YouTube video on your site using the HTML Widget. To do this:

1. Copy the embed code on the page of the YouTube video you would like to use
2. Drag an HTML Widget onto your page
3. Past the embed code into the widget

The YouTube video will then appear in your Site Builder properly.

Thank you so much for your patience while we work on this. I hope you will be able to use the workaround in the process.
