If you need support from Yola please contact us via support@yola.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!

It was always possible to get rid of the links with css, ( I take it you just change the colour of the text to white?) but it is against the Yola Terms of Service. In order for Yola to be able to allow us to use these free templates that credit needs to stay intact.
Also hiding text by changing it's colour to blend with the background can be bad for your search engine listings. Many people try to hide more keywords by this technique to get higher rankings, but search engine spiders are smarter now and can see this, then they penalise their sites ranking. Spiders may mistake what your doing as the same and penalise your ranking.
Thanks for the response. Actually it's not a CSS or by changing the its color to create invisible or hidden text. It seems the "Design Credits" is the licensing requirements of the templates for it to use on yola. okay thanks again.=)
This practice does more than harm rankings...The change of text color to blend with a background can actually get a site dropped and banned from Google's search engine. They have warnings about this and it is considered a black hat practice.
