I assumed my page, entitled "index", would show on my main navigation menu as Home but it does not, it shows as index.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong but how do I get my index page to display as HOME in my menu?

Hi Torynn,

To rename your page:

1. In your Sitebuilder, click on the "Page" tab and then click on the pencil icon beside page drop-down list.
2. A dialog box will open.
3. Enter the new name for your page.
4. Click "Rename" to save the change.

You will also want to edit your navigation and hover text so that the new page name is reflected in your navigation. To do this:

1. In your Sitebuilder, go to Page > Page Properties > Navigation OR hover over your menu navigation > Edit Menu.
2. The Page Manager will open up, with a list of all your pages.
3. Select a page to edit, and click on the blue link that says "Edit".
4. In the drop-down menu, you will see two boxes that say "Label" and "Hover Text".
5. Label is the name that appears in the navigation menu of your site.
6. Hover Text is the text that pops up when someone moves their mouse pointer to one of the tabs in your navigation menu. Type in your desired text in those two boxes.
7. Click "OK" and your navigation will be updated with the changes you made.

Hi boomer, ty for your reply!
I cannot rename the index page....the pencil is greyed out and in the navigation Page Manager the Rename is greyed out as well. I can rename any other page i want but not the index.php

The index page is your home page, I understand my site needs the index page...I do not want to rename it I just want my index page to display in my navigational menu as "home" (vs. "index").
