Hi, just wondering, is it possible to delete all navigation from the sidebar of my website in order that i can set up my own link section at the bottom to link to the pages of my site?
i know i can do this with every page other than the index one, but is there anyway i can delete the index page from the navigation bar which yola provide?

my site is www.charlottebillingham.yolasite.com - its the links at the left side i want to get rid of (ALL OF THEM) in order to create links to those pages in a self-made navigation bar at the top/bottom

thanks :)

Hello Charlotte,

There is no problem in removing the index page from the menu. Your site will still open on the index when it starts up. As long as you don't delete the index page you won't have a problem. It's a common method employed.

Hi Charlotte!

Yes, there is a way that you can hide each of the pages in your navigation!

Click on "Edit Navigation" on your top toolbar, and two lists will come up entitled "Pages in Navigation" and "Pages out of Navigation." From there you simply drag and drop each page that you would like in or out of your navigation menu.

Happy building!

Hi Drake,
It sounds as though you would like to implement a tracking database of some sort to track customer's purchases? Since any shipping or delivery of purchases is done on your end, your best option would be to see whether the delivery system you use allows for an online tracking device. Good Luck!

Hi drake

It is not currently possible to add a database to Yola. Can you explain how you were able to add it to other website builders you have hosted with before?

Your welcome. The looks of it is fantastic!

P.S How did you get that other close button? It looks really nice! If you see the regular lightbox, it just has the grey one. Is that lightbox 2 you are using? I am building a photography website right now with Lightbox2 in it: http://pauljohnsonphotos.com/gallery....

Nathan

I'm not sure about the lightbox! i just used the Flickr Widget! i upload all my pictures to flickr and then the widget does all the magic!
i actually prefer the photo display box on your website there, its much cleaner looking than mine!- so is that not done with a 'widget' then? ive not heard of lightbox 2 ?

Hello, pauljohnsonphotos.com isn't built with Yola. It is built with HTML. That means it was coded. So, it was all code and it got made out, just like Yola's website (I built it with HTML). Also, lightbox 2 is a script made up by someone that allows you to display images but, you have to know HTML to do that. Here is the lightbox 2 website: http://huddletogether.com/projects/li...

I never even knew that Flickr had that kind of gallery! But, Flickr uses lightbox 2. Lightbox 2 is on your website.

Sincerely,
Nathan
