Hi Debbie

Sorry you are experiencing this. Does this occur when you log into your site editor and the page stops loading and then shows your text and image widgets with no "edit" function in the upper left corners of the widgets?

Does this sound like an accurate description of your problem?

From what you have said it sounds like you have an invalid (not compatible) HTML code on that page which is causing your editor to freeze and make it impossible for you to edit any text or add any images.

I wonder... Have you recently added any HTML code to a widget on your site? That is the most likely cause of the problem.

Sadly, you may need to delete the page that has the issues and if it happens to be your index page then you will need to delete the page and recreate it. After clicking "Delete page" in the tool bar it will ask you if you are sure and once you agree it will then create a new blank page for you to place your content. If it is your index page then rest assured that if you delete the page only that your remaining site will still remain. It is only the page deleted that changes.

If that does not work then please contact customer support in your editor help tab.

Before you do any page delete if you happen to have any text content on that page I would

1) Open your page in your browser
2) Highlight all the text
3) Right click and click on "copy"
4) Open your Wordpad
5) Right click on the empty screen
6) Click on "Paste"

You then at least have the text from that page and need not have to retype it and can simply paste it into a text widget.

Keep up your spirits and remember I have been through it myself a handful of times.

Here is my site so that you can see I was able to get beyond what you are experiencing.

It will all work out in the end my friend...

Debbie

I have personally had to delete my index page 3 times and I still have my site up

www.honeybearplayhomes.com

So rest assured that if you delete that page and that page alone that you will be fine.

And the name is Ed ;)
