Thanks for your help. I have been trying to use photo gallery for 2 days now. I did read lesson. I can't find the image dimension indicator. plus I was trying to create a page with 8 thumbnail images with captions underneath each. then I wanted to give each thumbnail its own closeup or larger image on another page with caption. Can you help me with this. thank-you.

Hi tam

When you add a picture inside a text box:
1) click on it - you will see little boxes in the corners. When you click and drag one of these boxes you will see the dimension indicators.
2) I would recommend adding 4 thumbnails per line. Hit enter and you can then type your caption below each image.
3) Create another page with the larger image and caption and remove this page from the main menu by clicking "edit menu" and dragging it "out of the menu"
4) Turn your thumbnail into a link to the page with the larger image by highlighting it and clicking "insert link" on the text editing toolbar.

Here is a link to one of our latest featured sites that has a photogallery similar to the one you are trying to create. Take a look at it to get an idea of how it should work:

Get back to me if you get stuck and or if anything I have said does not make sense to you.

Hope the above info works for you. I used the tutorial on photo galleries and it worked fine. To put a caption with the image I added a row of photos first and then underneath I added a text widgit where I put my titles. I'm not sure if this is the easiest way to display captions with an image but it worked for me, and I was just so excited that I now know more than how to turn my computer on!!! You can check out what I mean at my site if you want (I'm also a featured site at SynthSite home page...what the???? really???? ME?????)
