Do you have any recommendations for free web-based help desk software that works with Yola?

See example: http://www.richlifeclub.net/

Some use PHP, some have you download their software, etc. I have no experience with installing these, I'd love to get someone's feedback on what has worked well for them. Thanks in advance!

Hi Joy

The simplest way of handling this would be to choose your helpdesk solution and then just put an email link to it on your Yola site.

Yola uses HelpSpot for it's helpdesk: http://www.userscape.com/products/hel.... It is a fantastic tool, but it is not free, and probably has far more features than you need. Another popular one is Zen Desk: http://www.zendesk.com/

Can you tell us a little more about what you are looking for. What do you need this software to be able to do for you? I will then see what I can suggest, and perhaps some others will make suggestions as well.

Monique, you give the awesomest replies! I am so blown away by Yola's amazing response times. You guys are the best. I would like to start with a free web-based customer service platform like polarsoftware's commercial version. I can find a free host that has MYSSQL capability, and host the software there...and have a link to my Yola site. It sounds like a pain in the you know what, but I'm all for automating customer service as much as possible...would welcome any further suggestions.

It sounds like you have a workable plan. How many licenses will you need? (how many people will need to use the tool) I see polarsoftware gives one for free but you have to pay for additional licenses. Something to keep in mind if you are going to have more than one user. If your website involves significant amounts of customer support then proper helpdesk software is a very good idea as it makes this task a great deal easier.

I want a help desk too. Do you think Yola will ever have this in the widgets bar on the side of the site builder? All of the Help Desks I find have to be downloaded and if I download it, how would I get it on my Yola website?

Hello Nathan,

I've done a quick websearch and heres a suggestion.
It can't be fully integrated into your site but you can link to it as it is hosted for you.

Hope this helps.
