There are a limited number of "free" shopping systems available to use. Basically they are online facilities that simply require a registration and the placing of a small snippet of code onto your site for the integration.
The next stage is to create the catalogue and the buttons for processes . This is where you can select optional aspects such as sizes and so on.

Have a look at Cashie and Both are free . ecwid allows a catalogue of 200 products before they ask for money. Cashie doesn't charge for the "rent" of the facility but rather takes 1 % of the transaction amount as a commission. Ecwid is the more powerful. Cashie is simply a boxed version of the PayPal system

Hello Kathryn,

The Yola Ecommerce Widgets don't yet offer this feature. As Guido pointed out, you can add a selection option to your site by visiting PayPal by using and customizing their buttons. To use PayPal's buttons, you will need to create your own Online Store layout using Picture Widgets and Text Widgets as this cannot be incorporated into the current Ecommerce Widgets.

Here's how to retrieve the code:

  • Sign into your PayPal account.

  • Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu.

  • Click the "Buy Now Button" or the "Add to Cart Button".

  • Choose button type and enter name and payment details.

  • Check the "Add drop-down menu with price/option" box half-way down the page.

  • Add the details of your selection and click "Done".

  • When done editing click "Create Button".

  • In the next window and in the (Website) code box click the "Select Code".

  • Right click on the highlighted text and click "Copy".

  • In the Sitebuilder, drag and drop an HTML Widget where you need it.

  • In the HTML Widget paste the code and click on "Save".

  • Republish your site by clicking on the green "Publish to the web" button.

  • For detailed information on using PayPal, please view PayPal's Website Payments Standard Integration Guide PDF (5.8mb PDF).
