Integrating Tumblr with Pagination or Scroll?

I'm trying to use the Tumblr Widget on my website: http://jfotography.net/test.php

According to the Yola FAQs "Your Tumblr feed (every single post) will be seamlessly integrated into your website." However, according to the settings of the Tumblr Widget, I am only able to display a "Max Results" of 50 posts.

Is there a way for me to integrate every post, perhaps with multiple pages or infinite scroll?

Thanks for the help!

Hello JFotography,

I am not aware of a way to make Tumblr scroll. I was just reading some helpful information on the Tumblr website: http://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/advance... . It says that 50 posts can be made per day and that you can put a total of 300 posts in the queue.

Hi Crystal,

Tumblr can enable an infinite scroll feature and can accomodate more than 50 posts in total (although it seems true that only 50 posts can be made per day and only 300 can be stored unpublished in the queue to be published on some given schedule). For an example of a Tumblr blog that uses infinite scroll with more than 300 posts see: http://amuseful.com/

The problem I'm trying to figure out is on Yola's side concerning Yola's Tumblr Widget, not the Tumblr blog itself.

Hope that clears thing up. Thanks for the input.

Hello JFotography,

I just found on the Tumblr site the code for making it scroll. Here is the link for it: http://tumblring.net/making-your-tumb... . Hopefully that works.

Hi Crystal,

That code is for making the content on the Tumblr blog scroll (as opposed to pagination ie. "next" and "previous" page links). However, I'm looking for a way to make Yola's Tumblr Widget load more than 50 posts, potentially either through implementing a scroll of a prev/next page button.

I have tested the code from the link you mentioned in a HTML widget and it will not cause the Yola Tumblr widget to scroll, partially because only a set number posts have been loaded to the Yola Tumblr widget begin with. Also, the javascript called by the code makes use of Tumblr's pagination format; not the Yolas Tumblr widget's load method.

Again, the problem I'm trying to figure out is on Yola's side concerning Yola's Tumblr Widget, not the Tumblr blog itself.

Hope that clears thing up. Thanks for the input.

Hello JFotography,

Perhaps instead of using the Tumblr Widget, could you past code from the Tumblr site in an HTML widget? Then you would be able to change it as needed...

Hi Crystal,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. What code from the Tumblr site would I use in an HTML widget to display Tumblr posts in my Yola site?

Here is a link with steps to post the entire blog on a page or subdomain page at Yola: http://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/custom_...

Oh, that would just be using Tumblr but not using a .tumblr.com subdomain.

I'm hoping to import Tumblr posts to my Yola site to keep all browsing on my Yola site.

Thanks anyway for the help!
